       Praying with Mary, Christ's Mother, our Mother:

Of all who ever lived, there is no other who adored the Sacred Face of Jesus more profoundly than His Mother. There is no other who gazed with so much love upon His infant Face, His Child Face, and every phase as He grew until she gazed upon His tortured and dying Face. With the most terrible anguish, united with her Son's suffering, Mary gazed "Pierced by a sward." Mary understood the depth of her Son's love for us as no one else. She gazed upon the Face of her crucified Son as Jesus gave everything in love for us as reparation for our sins until every drop of His Precious Blood was gone and His Sacred human Face was without life before His Mother.

 

With exultant joy Mary gazed upon her Son's resurrected Face and upon entering Paradise, Mary gazed upon Jesus's  glorious Face. There is no greater advocate that we have as our Blessed Mother who we should ask to be with us as we gaze upon the sacred image of her Son to pray and contemplate His love.
