      Praying with St. Joseph:

Next to the Blessed Mother as our advocate is St. Joseph, the virginal father of our Lord. St Joseph was regarded by Jesus as His earthly father. Thus, the high position St. Joseph held in the Holy Family was patriarch being respected and obeyed by the King of kings. Of all men created, St. Joseph was selected as the one who God wanted in the image of father in the Holy Family and as an example for all fathers. One can know with certainty that St. Joseph would gaze upon the Holy Face of Jesus with a deep and profound fatherly love. As all fathers love to show pictures of their children, it would bring St. Joseph great pleasure to assist anyone who wishes to have him as an advocate in prayer, gazing upon an image of the sacred Face of His Son.
